Departure Day- Part 1

We're off to a good start. Patience 101, wait for the storm to pass. The radar paints a pretty picture of green and yellow, with just a touch of red thrown in, moving quickly from the southwest. Time to have breakfast, double check our double checked list, try to relax a bit. Nervous energy making that task all but impossible. I can see clear skies behind the storm front all the way to Wisconsin for sure. The Dakotas are in question but, as usual, time will tell. Oshkosh may end up being the perfect place to call it a day. Too bad Airventure is a month away.

  1. Well I'll be damned, John Hrubos has a BLOG! Who knew? I'm so happy to be following you and Marlys on your cross country journey. Wish I felt better--I DRAG the old man off the couch and meet you in Minot for an overnight. Its been awhile since I've seen your smiling face, John. You always make me giggle. Always. Well, just know that I'll be following the journey and living through you vicariously. Well, actually those little airplanes scare the shit out of me. Not that I don't trust your flying abilities, because I do. It has more to do with the noise and being up off the ground. I like my toes on earth thankyouverymuch. Heights just scare me. Just one of my many phobias.

Give my love to Marlys and you guys BE SAFE!!!

    Look forward to tomorrows news.
